Question 1 of 11
What sport does your club play?
This determines which national governing body grants you can access, alongside wider community funding.
Please specify your sport Required
Question 2 of 11
Where is your club based?
Several grants are area-specific. Select your local authority to unlock location-based funding.
Question 3 of 11
What is your club's legal status?
Most grants require not-for-profit status. Select the option that best describes your club.
Question 4 of 11
What does your club need funding for?
Select all that apply. Different grants cover different project types — the more specific you are, the better your results.
Question 5 of 11
What is your estimated project budget?
A rough figure is fine. This matches you to the right grant tier — many grants have minimum and maximum thresholds.
Question 6 of 11
Does your club serve a deprived community?
The Welsh Index of Multiple Deprivation (WIMD) ranks areas by need. Clubs in higher-deprivation areas receive priority access and enhanced match rates from Sport Wales, the Cymru Football Foundation, and other funders. Clubs in deprived WIMD areas across Wales — including the Valleys, coastal communities, and rural areas — may qualify.
Question 7 of 11
Does your club have junior or youth sections?
Many funders give priority — or offer higher grants — to clubs that provide structured sport for children and young people.
Question 8 of 11
Does your club have a women’s or girls’ team?
Several funders specifically support clubs that provide sport for women and girls — or are actively working to do so. This unlocks dedicated funding streams.
Question 9 of 11
Does your club include disability sport?
Dedicated grants exist for clubs that provide or are developing structured sport for people with physical or learning disabilities. Even early-stage plans can unlock funding.
Question 10 of 11
What is your club's relationship with its facilities?
Capital improvement and energy efficiency grants typically require you to own your premises or hold a lease of at least 5–7 years.
