Built in Wales · Made with a real club

Built on the touchline, not in a boardroom.

Pavilion is made in Wales by Caldera Projects, hand-in-hand with a real South Wales cricket club. Every feature is shaped by what actually works on a wet Saturday — by treasurers, captains and volunteers, not by a roadmap dreamt up far from the pitch.

Where it started

A club, a spreadsheet,
and a pile of missed grants

Pavilion began with a simple, frustrating truth. Grassroots clubs are run by volunteers who already give every spare hour — and there is real money out there for them, sitting in funds nobody has time to find.

So we did the unglamorous thing. We sat with a real club, Baglan Cricket Club in South Wales, and built the tools they actually needed: a way to find the funding they were missing, then a way to run the rest of the club without three apps and a group chat.

Every feature ships through that club first. If it doesn't help on a real matchday, it doesn't make it in. That's the whole philosophy — software shaped by the people holding the clipboard.

Live pilot

We weren't chasing the grants we qualified for — there was never time. Pavilion found them, drafted the application, and then ran the season too.

The vision

A funding-led operating system
for grassroots sport

Most club software starts with admin. We start with money — because money is what keeps a club alive. Find it first, then build everything else around it.

1

Find the money Live

Start by finding clubs the funding they're missing. A free checker over 97 grants across all four UK nations, an AI that drafts the application, and a tracker that follows it to the finish.

2

Run the whole club Live

Then run everything around it. Fixtures, squad, availability, finances and committee in one warm place — so the volunteer who does everything finally has one place to do it.

3

Build the facility 2027

The next chapter, on the roadmap for 2027: help clubs design and build the facilities the funding pays for — clubhouse design and photoreal renders that win the grants in the first place.

From the money, to the season, to the building it funds. One club. One platform.

How we build

Warm, honest, and built to last

Made with a real club

Nothing here is a demo. Every part of Pavilion runs a live cricket club, every weekend, before it reaches anyone else.

Funding first, always

We lead with the thing that keeps clubs alive — the money. Everything else earns its place around it.

For the volunteer

Built for the treasurer on a spreadsheet and the chair on the touchline — simple enough that nobody needs a manual.

Priced for grassroots

One flat price per club, never per member, with the grant tools free forever. Affordable on a club's budget, not a corporate one.

Privacy & security

Your club's data is your club's

Clubs trust us with members, finances and young people's details. We treat that seriously — privacy-first, built to the ICO's best practice for handling personal data.

  • Encrypted at rest. Your club's data is encrypted on our infrastructure.
  • Role-based access. People see only what their role should — safeguarding baked in.
  • Audit-logged. Sensitive actions are recorded, so there's always a clear trail.
  • ICO best practice. Built to the UK regulator's guidance for personal data.

We follow ICO best practice for data protection and are registered with the ICO (ZC171212). We don't claim any certification we don't hold — just careful, transparent handling of your club's information.

Trusted infrastructure

We don't reinvent the hard parts. Payments, AI and processing run on the same platforms used by some of the world's most careful companies.
